We are a service based business specializing in helping you learn fly fishing, fly tying, and maximize your enjoyment of the sport.

Who We Are

live2huntfish is a result of the passion of my wife Diana, and myself:

One face you don't see on our page is Lauren Kingsley.  Lauren is the owner operator of The Painted Trout and is a wonderful artist.  Lauren designed our live2huntfish logo and we couldn't be more pleased.  If you're interested in seeing more of Lauren's work please use the link above or the shortcut on our Links page to visit Lauren's site.  While you're there please let Lauren know how much you like the logo!

Al Ritt

Growing up in Michigan I've fished as long as I can remember.  While living in northern California in the early 19080's I began fly fishing almost exclusively, just shortly after I began tying flies.  In 1989 I moved to the northern front range of Colorado, where Diana and I currently reside.  While working in the robotics and industrial automation field most of my career, I have also worked for 2 large outdoor equipment retailers and for a local fly shop near home.  I've taught fly tying since 1995 both for area fly shops and independantly for individuals and small groups.  I've also guided and taught fly fishing for local fly shops since 2004.  Currently I am a member of the Whiting Farms and PEAK Fishing pro staffs, a fly designer for Montana Fly Company and a published author.

Diana Ritt

Diana is newer to fishing and fly fishing, picking up the sport shortly after we met in 2003.  Diana is shown above with a 20" Wyoming Rainbow, her first fly caught trout.  Diana began tying flies that same year and by spring of 2004 was using her own flies to catch fish on the flats of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.  We have also been to Alaska since her recent but varied and succcesful introduction to the sport.  In addition to her assistance with all things logistical and her photography, Diana is the support and assurance that makes all ideas seem possible.
